Air Jordan XIII (13) Retro

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 13 (XIII) was released in 1997 and inspired by the panther due to the similarities between this powerful cat and Jordan’s movements on the hardwood. This inspiration can be seen throughout the design but most notably on the sole, which resembles a panther’s paw. Another signature element on the Air Jordan 13 is the circle hologram, which features the number "23", the Jumpman logo and a basketball.

Air Jordan 6-17-23

In 2008 Jordan Countdown Packs including two retro Air Jordan sneakers that added up to '23' hit the shelves, and were widely praised among Jordanheads. Now, Jordan Brand is trying the single sneaker approach with the Air Jordan 6-17-23. This hybrid sneaker combines elements of the Air Jordan VI and the Air Jordan XVII, which also adds up to '23'. They feature a leather and nubuck upper, rear spoiler, musical notes on the tongue, and a translucent outsole.

Air Jordan VII (7) Retro

In 1992 Michael Jordan won his 2nd consecutive NBA Championship, his 6th scoring title, and a gold medal in the Olympics, all while wearing the Air Jordan VII. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and inspired by West African tribal art, the Air Jordan VII was touted for its Nike Huarache-inspired neoprene sock liner, which provides a snug and comfortable fit. They have been released in numerous colorways, including the “Hare” Jordan VII that was worn by Bugs Bunny.

Air Jordan 11 (XI) Retro

The Air Jordan Retro XI "Cool Grey" has to be the most anticipated release of 2010. Originally worn by Michael Jordan during the 1995 NBA season, the Air Jordan XI is on the top of practically everyone’s favorite Air Jordan list. The "Cool Grey" model features a ballistic nylon and patent leather upper, blue-tinted translucent midsole, carbon fiber spring plate, and a rubber outsole with herringbone traction pattern. This 2010 release also features special grey packaging and plastic "shoe trees."

Nike Air Max Penny

With an oversized jeweled Swoosh and a visible wraparound Max Air unit in the sole, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 is usually considered the most coveted Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway signature sneaker. This colorway was allegedly inspired by the Phoenix Suns and features an all black upper with purple laces, Swoosh and lining. Plus, Nike also added a touch of orange to the logo that is embroidered on the heel.

They are also known for their translucent sole, reflective tongue, and accompanying lace locks. The Air Jordan V has been re-released many times and is now available in fresh new colorways.

Nike Blazer High Suede (Vintage)

One of the first basketball sneakers Nike ever produced; the Nike Blazer was released in 1972. With a simple design and an extremely large swoosh; the Blazer was created to compete with the Adidas and Converse sneakers that were dominating the hardwood. Available in leather, canvas and suede, the Nike Blazer also features an outsole that is fused to the upper. And, they we’re originally worn by NBA legend George “The Iceman” Garvin.

Nike Shox NZ

Nike Shox sprung on to the scene in 2001. The unique Shox technology was inspired by the remarkably springy indoor running track at Harvard. Small hollow columns make up the midsole and are mostly made of rubber. And, Nike states that these columns not only absorb impact from heel strike during athletic activities, but they also "spring back" and add more power to your stride. A wide array of Nike sneaker models use Shox technology today, but the original models were the R4 runner, BB4 court sneaker, and the XT4 cross-trainer.

Nike Air More Uptempo

Originally released in 1996 and worn by Scottie Pippen, the Nike Air More Uptempo has always been an instantly recognizable basketball sneaker. They are known for their large “AIR” design, but also feature a full-length visible Air sole unit, lock down elastic construction, and a rubber outsole. It will be hard for old school sneakerheads to keep from coppin’ these.
